Google is expanding its Personal Intelligence feature to all US users for free, after previously limiting it to paid subscribers. The feature allows Gemini to connect across Google services like Gmail and Google Photos to deliver personalized AI responses. Use cases include tailored shopping recommendations, vacation planning based on hotel confirmations, and context-aware suggestions drawn from past photos. The feature is opt-in, off by default, and available in AI Mode in Search, the Gemini app, and Gemini in Chrome. It is restricted to personal Google accounts only.
