Grok 4.5, xAI's latest reasoning model, is now rolling out in GitHub Copilot. It features a 500,000-token context window, supports text and image inputs, and offers low/medium/high reasoning effort modes. The model is optimized for fast, agentic coding and complex multi-step workflows, with strong performance in terminal-based tasks, parallel tool dispatching, and Copilot CLI. It is available to Copilot Pro, Pro+, Max, Business, and Enterprise users across VS Code, Visual Studio, JetBrains, Xcode, Eclipse, and the Copilot cloud agent. Enterprise and Business admins must enable the policy manually as it is off by default. Billing is at provider list pricing under usage-based billing.
