TanStack Charts 0.3.1 is a typed, tree-shakable charting library built on a grammar-of-graphics approach inspired by Observable Plot, ggplot2, and Vega-Lite. It offers a marks-and-channels API for composing SVG and Canvas charts with shared coordinate systems. The framework-neutral scene weighs 8.12 KiB gzip, while a compact React line consumer is 16.48 KiB. Charts are fully customizable via CSS variables, themes, mark props, and custom renderers, with no D3 or InternMap retained in the core bundle.

My first test would put the Canvas renderer on a dense dataset and see how far the 8 KiB core can go.
