The flaw exists in an opcode that calls LoadLibraryExA with user-controlled paths, enabling attackers to execute code with SYSTEM privileges. The vulnerability is particularly dangerous because it bypasses typical exploit complexity—no shellcode or EDR evasion needed. Additional null pointer dereference bugs (CVSS 7.5) can crash the security product, creating denial-of-service scenarios.
