Aaron Christophel reverse-engineered the Xiaomi Mi Band 10 fitness tracker, which uses the Bestechnic BES2700iMP (BEST1503) SoC. With no public SDK available, he discovered that the similar BEST1306 chip had a leaked SDK from audio development kits, which he adapted for the BEST1503. As a proof of concept, he ported Doom to the device using the GBADoom project, though display limitations (single-bit SPI instead of quad-SPI) and color depth constraints remain. The reverse-engineered SDK is expected to also work for the Mi Band 9, which uses the same SoC.
