A high school developer known as slqnt has built a browser port of Half-Life 2 in just three months, making the classic Valve FPS playable entirely for free in a web browser. The port runs surprisingly well with only minor graphical glitches, and even works on mobile browsers with a connected gamepad or keyboard. The project has gone viral, though it may be taken down by Valve at any point.
