# Hark previews its browser use agent for completing tasks

**[TechCrunch](https://daily.dev/sources/tc)** · 2 min read · 0 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

Hark, a startup that raised $700M in Series A funding, has previewed its browser-use agent called Handoff. The agent can navigate websites without official APIs — including Target, Walmart, OpenTable, and LinkedIn — to complete tasks like ordering food, booking travel, or shopping. Unlike LLMs that predict the next token, Hark claims its model predicts the next action (a click or keyboard input). The company says Handoff is faster and cheaper than competitors like GPT 5.5 and Opus 4.8. A waitlist is open, with a full release planned by end of summer. The space is crowded, with Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Browser Use, Polar, and others working on similar agents.
