The unit runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155P, 12GB LPDDR4 RAM, 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, and an Infineon TRAVEO ARM Cortex M7F interface processor. A key new addition over the previous MGU22H generation is a dedicated APIX connectivity daughterboard enabling connections to the Driver Camera System, Heads-Up Display, and the vehicle's instrument cluster (DFE). The head unit now appears to drive the instrument cluster directly, eliminating the separate KOMBI module. Component-level identification covers both PCBs including Marvell Ethernet switches, NXP WiFi 6/BT 5.3 SoC, Inova APiX 3 transmitters, and more.
