# Here's what's coming in Rails 8

## Summary

Rails 8 will include new features such as Solid Queue and Solid Cache becoming defaults, improved support for Progressive Web Apps, addition of a basic authentication generator, improved linting and editor experience, streamlined deployment with Kamal and GitHub CI Actions, and other goodies like Propshaft, structured logging, benchmarking, and HTTP/2.
