Frictional Games, known for SOMA and Amnesia: The Dark Descent, has delayed its upcoming horror title Ontos to 2027. The game is a sci-fi mystery thriller described as a spiritual successor to SOMA, set on a repurposed moon hotel called Samsara. Players take on the role of Aditi Amani, investigating a cryptic legacy left by their father. The game features actor Stellan Skarsgård, immersive narrative gameplay with systems-driven mechanics, and will launch on PC, Xbox, and PS5. It was originally announced at The Game Awards 2025.
