How Bookmarks Work in Daily?
Bookmarks are important. Every time you open a new tab and found some interesting articles on Daily, you don't necessarily have time to read it. So, you want to save it for later. That's where bookmarks come into the picture.
Making bookmarks is pretty simple and straightforward in Daily. It even allows bookmarks for the user who haven't signed up. But what happens when you sign up or log in? Or you sign in on another device? This guide answers all those questions and lists everything you need to know about Daily Bookmarks.
At Daily, you can create bookmarks and sync them across your devices. In order to sync the bookmarks, you must be logged in with the same account on each device.
Use the toggle button at the top of Daily to toggle between your feed and bookmarks.
To bookmark an article, click on the bookmark symbol on the article card. When you click it, it turns orange, indicating it has been bookmarked. Clicking on it again removes the bookmark. Similarly, you can remove bookmarks from the bookmarks section.
If you have bookmarks and you want to sign up (creating a fresh account). All of your settings and bookmarks will be synced to your account. So, you don't need to worry about anything.
In case, if you want to login to an existing account, Daily will show a prompt asking if you want to merge your bookmarks. If you proceed with that, you won't lose any bookmarks.
To sync bookmarks across devices/browsers, all you need to do is to log in with the same account on every device/browser.
