They sell around 70-90% of drones around the world! That market dominance sounds great until you realize most of its competitors are either dead or pivoted into something else. DJI as a company had a fun story. It started with a guy who crashed a toy helicopter as a kid and became obsessed with figuring out why it fell from the sky. After spending his adult years figuring out how drones fly Frank Wang founded DJI. That company is building drones used in Hollywood, agriculture, infrastructure, and even autonomous delivery.
