During Cisco Live EMEA, network traffic was analyzed to understand AI tool adoption across enterprise environments. Using DNS telemetry from Cisco Secure Access ingested into Splunk, researchers identified which AI platforms were most accessed. ChatGPT dominated with over 11,000 unique client systems, followed by Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini. The analysis also uncovered a suspicious domain (clawbot[.]ai) flagged as malicious by Talos, highlighting risks of typosquatting on popular AI brand names. Generative AI DNS queries accounted for less than 5% of total DNS traffic over five conference days, but the data confirms broad enterprise adoption of AI tools.
