Google's latest Android XR tooling lets developers build and test XR apps without physical hardware. Android Studio now includes virtual device support for display glasses and immersive headsets, a pairing assistant to link phone and glasses emulators, and Compose Previews for Jetpack Compose Glimmer UI. Developers can simulate touchpad gestures, voice input via laptop microphone, passthrough mixed reality, and 3D spatial layouts using the Jetpack XR SDK and SceneCore library.
