# How to create and maintain good software documentation

## Summary

Documentation is important for new developers and for audits. It should be simple and minimalistic to decrease maintenance effort. Markdown is a lightweight, HTML-like markup language that is common in software projects. PlantUML is one of my favorite tools for rendering Diagrams and diagrams.
