# How to have a productive programming day

## Summary

productivity is not about ‘hustling’, it’s simply about not being wasteful with my time. Here are some high-level productivity tips I’ve learned over the years. Get up early and go to bed early. When possible, exercise before work. Don’t eat too much.

Want to feel like success?  Take the one which is easiest to do for you and start with it.  Then, after having that success, pick the one which will make the greatest difference, second, and work on that one--until you get where you want to be at, results wise.
