The author is unsure whether to launch it as a standalone open-source project or contribute the features as a PR to an existing project, and is asking maintainers and contributors for advice, plus suggestions for projects that might welcome these features. ## Content Every time our UI changed, our product demo videos went stale. So I built a tool where a demo is a **script**, not a screen recording: a Playwright flow (or a coding agent) clicks through the app, and out comes a polished video. - auto-zoom on every click - smooth synthetic cursor - AI-written narration + voiceover - a small editor to tweak it, then export MP4 UI changed? Re-run the script. Done. It works. Now I'm stuck on one question: **Launch it as its own open-source project, or contribute these features to an existing one?** My gut says contribute: the world doesn't need another repo that dies in 6 months. But big feature PRs to someone else's project can sit for months or get rejected.
