I ditched Windows 11's taskbar for a week using only PowerToys, and it actually worked

A hands-on experiment replacing the Windows 11 Taskbar entirely using Microsoft PowerToys for a week. The author hid the native Taskbar and relied on Command Palette as a floating launcher for app launches, file search, Winget package management, and running commands. The new Command Palette Dock feature served as a repositionable Taskbar alternative, supporting custom backgrounds and pinned icons. FancyZones handled window management on multi-monitor setups, while the Window Walker extension replaced Task View.
