The biggest divide and the most toxicity towards the developers in the same community seems to be in the PHP community. PHP was my first programming language and it is sad to see how people tend to split the community that is getting smaller and smaller every day with other languages taking over. Defensibility and overcomplicating the ideas borrowed from the other languages combined with skepticism and general hate towards other languages is what made me switch language and community.
