We just published Hibernate Search 8.4.0.Final.



Compared to the previously released 8.4.0.CR1, this version is mostly identical,
and only adds a few changes to adapt to the final release of Hibernate ORM 7.4.0.Final
and improve the Hibernate Search ORM mapper integration.

Hibernate Search 8.4.0.Final has been released. This version is nearly identical to the 8.4.0.CR1 candidate release, with key changes including compatibility with Hibernate ORM 7.4.0.Final, support for Elasticsearch 9.4 and OpenSearch 3.6, and several dependency upgrades (Elasticsearch client 9.4.1, OpenSearch client 3.6.0, AWS SDK 2.44.1, Apache HTTP components). A notable improvement is that using listener-triggered indexing with a StatelessSession now throws an explicit exception instead of producing confusing errors. Hibernate Search 8.4 is a drop-in replacement for 8.3 with a migration guide available.
