SolarSquare, an Indian rooftop solar startup, is in advanced talks to raise $55–60M at a $450–500M valuation, co-led by B Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners in a Series C round. The deal would more than double the company's valuation from 18 months ago. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Mumbai, SolarSquare has installed over 150 MW of capacity across 29 cities, powered nearly 50,000 homes, and crossed an annualised revenue run rate of ~$104M. India became the world's third-largest solar producer in 2025, with government subsidies accelerating residential adoption. SolarSquare differentiates itself through vertical integration, controlling the full customer lifecycle from design to maintenance.
