The projects involve collaborations with Argonne, Brookhaven, and Lawrence Livermore national laboratories, plus the University of Colorado Boulder. The three initiatives cover AI-optimized quantum circuit design for nuclear applications, deployable atomic quantum sensing with Agentic AI, and simulating nonlinear plasma dynamics using quantum machine learning for fusion energy research. These awards follow a Letter of Intent with the Department of Commerce for up to $100 million in quantum investment, reflecting growing U.S. government commitment to quantum as a strategic national asset. ## Full article daily.dev links to this article rather than hosting it.
