The sensors can track physiological indicators and activity patterns, providing valuable insights for veterinarians, farmers, animal researchers, and pet owners. The implantable chip system can measure heart rate, breathing rate, movement, temperature, and has the potential to track blood pressure and oxygen saturation in the future.
