# Integrating KurrentDB and Databricks via Arrow Flight SQL: A Reference Implementation Guide for Event-Sourced Analytics Part 2

## Summary

A hands-on reference implementation for building a full medallion pipeline (Bronze → Silver → Gold) that incrementally ingests event-sourced data from KurrentDB into Databricks using Arrow Flight SQL. Bronze lands raw events hourly via ADBC Flight SQL with idempotent MERGE on log_position. Silver notebooks use Delta Change Data Feed to project each event type into typed columns, discarding raw JSON to minimize storage duplication. Gold joins all Silver tables into a single loan-lifecycle table for BI and ML consumption. The guide covers table DDL, per-event-type Silver projection notebooks in PySpark, a Gold rebuild query, Databricks Workflow orchestration with parallel Silver tasks, and deterministic recovery via high-water mark reset and full replay from KurrentDB.
