Intel Graphics Compiler (IGC) 2.34.4 has been released, bringing improvements including Crescent Island accelerator enablement, Xe3P graphics support, WideMulMad support, code scheduling improvements, Panther Lake optimizations, 2D load splitting pass enabled by default, and official SPV_INTEL_bfloat16_arithmetic SPIR-V support on Xe3P. The compiler is used by the Intel Compute Runtime for Level Zero and OpenCL compute on Intel graphics hardware, as well as for graphics shader compilation on Windows. A new Intel Compute Runtime update is expected soon. Separately, the new Jay compiler for Intel Linux users continues development within Mesa.
