The key change involves restructuring the EDAC driver to handle Diamond Rapids' Retry Read Error Log (RRL), which now operates at DDR sub-channel granularity rather than full memory channel granularity. The RRL also expands CORRERRCNT register width from 4 to 8 bytes while reducing register count from 8 to 4. These patches have been queued in the edac-for-next Git branch and are expected to be merged into the Linux 7.2 kernel.
