Microsoft introduces Phi-3, a family of open AI models that redefine what's possible with small language models (SLMs). Phi-3 models outperform models of the same size and larger across various benchmarks. Phi-3-mini, a 3.8B language model, is available on Azure AI Studio and other platforms. Additional models will be added to the Phi-3 family in the future. Phi-3 models are designed with safety principles and responsible AI practices.
