Salesforce is introducing the BiometricsService mobile capability, which allows developers to add additional security measures to data stored on Lightning web components (LWCs). BiometricsService can be used in a real estate context to protect sensitive data access on mobile devices. The BiometricsService API needs to be configured by including a 'lightning-button' component in the LWC HTML template and connecting it with the JavaScript API. BiometricsService is available in the Salesforce Mobile App, Salesforce Mobile App Plus, and Mobile Publisher offerings.
