Nuxt has launched the Nuxt Agent (Beta) on nuxt.com, a first-party AI agent replacing the third-party Kapa AI widget. Built on top of the Nuxt MCP server, it provides grounded answers from official docs, modules catalog, blog, and deployment guides. The agent renders rich UI cards for modules, templates, and hosting providers, generates StackBlitz playground links, and streams responses end-to-end. Technically, it uses AI SDK v6 with claude-sonnet-4.6, Drizzle ORM for chat persistence, and a Nitro server handler. A key architectural decision is sharing the same MCP server with external AI assistants like Cursor and Claude Desktop. Rate limiting is set at 20 messages/day per IP.
