# Introducing the React Foundation – React

**[React](https://daily.dev/sources/react)** · 3 min read · 2 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

React and React Native are moving from Meta to a newly established React Foundation with independent technical governance. The foundation will maintain infrastructure, organize React Conf, and support the ecosystem through grants and programs. Founding corporate members include Amazon, Callstack, Expo, Meta, Microsoft, Software Mansion, and Vercel. A new technical governance structure will be defined with community input to ensure no single company has overrepresentation in React's technical direction.
