Matt Stauffer from Tighten built Voxacon, a multiplayer 3D voxel-based recreation of the SoWa Power Station (Laracon US 2026 venue) using Three.js and Laravel. The project includes the full venue, sponsor booths with NPCs, eight puzzles, a world-building system, and a virtual watch party for those who can't attend in person. Built over three months with AI assistance (Claude), it runs on Laravel Cloud with Laravel Reverb for real-time multiplayer. Anyone can explore without an account; GitHub login is required for world-building or puzzle competition. Physical prizes are available to Laracon attendees who complete all eight puzzles before the deadline.
