iONLINE Connected Networks and Nodle are expanding crowdsourced IoT connectivity in South Africa using Nodle's decentralised Bluetooth Low Energy network. The Nodle Trust Network turns smartphones into nodes, creating a scalable, low-cost alternative to traditional fixed-infrastructure IoT deployments. iONLINE's FlexiTag devices and compatible third-party BLE tags will run on this network, enabling affordable asset tracking for parcels, tools, pallets, pharmaceutical shipments, and more. The opt-in model is designed to be privacy-preserving, lightweight, and grows through network effects as more mobile devices participate.
