# iOS 17.4 Update Ends PWA Support in the European Union

## Summary

The latest iOS 17.4 update removed Progressive Web App (PWA) support in the European Union due to security challenges and compliance with the Digital Markets Act (DMA). > To be honest this isn't cool at all. Apple needs to reduce the 30% to 15% or less bring back PWA support.   The only reason companies want to use other methods of payment systems is due to the 30% charge. If apple only charged maybe 10% it would even reduce the need to use 3rd party payment systems who knows.  We need more developers to chime in and share their thoughts
