Apple has released iOS 26.5.2, a security-focused update containing over 25 fixes covering areas from the kernel to WebKit. Notable fixes include a use-after-free memory issue in WebKit that could cause Safari crashes via malicious web content, and a respring bug triggered by widget interaction. The wallpaper dimming bug remains unresolved. The update is approximately 1GB and is strongly recommended for anyone on iOS 26.5.1 or earlier. Users on iOS 26.6 or iOS 27 betas will not see this update. iOS 26.6 beta 4 and iOS 27 beta 3 are expected the following week.
