Top highlights include new AI-powered photo editing tools (Extend and Spatial Reframe), a completely overhauled Siri powered by Google AI with on-device indexing of personal data, and a new liquid glass transparency slider. Long-overdue fixes finally arrive: separate alarm volume, better Wi-Fi-to-cellular handoff, CarPlay media scrubbing, and custom AirPods EQ. The biggest win may be performance — significant speed improvements especially on older iPhones going back to the iPhone 11, with a new optimized CPU scheduler delivering noticeably snappier experiences. ## Full article daily.dev links to this article rather than hosting it.
