iOS and Android suck now, so I used a Linux Phone for 30 days

A 30-day real-world experiment using a Volla Phone Quintus running Ubuntu Touch as a sole daily driver. The experience covers what worked well (interface, native apps, WayDroid for Android app compatibility, Nextcloud integration) and what didn't (no clipboard or notification bridge between Ubuntu Touch and WayDroid, banking apps failing on WayDroid, slow gallery app, poor browser until the 24.04.2 beta). The author ultimately decides to keep using the Linux phone despite its limitations, largely because the beta update fixed major issues including the browser, keyboard, and random disconnects. Key missing features include photo sync to Nextcloud, WayDroid-to-Ubuntu-Touch notification bridging, and clipboard sharing between the two environments.
