Sure is a community-maintained fork of the abandoned Maybe Finance personal finance app, now available for self-hosting with Docker. The original app was built in 2021-2022 with nearly $1M in development costs before being open-sourced under AGPLv3. The project includes wealth management features and can be deployed locally or via one-click platforms. Developers can contribute using Ruby, PostgreSQL, and Redis, with setup guides available for Mac, Linux, and Windows environments.
