A firsthand account of attending JakartaOne Dominican Republic, the first JakartaOne event held in the Caribbean. Around 40 attendees gathered for talks covering Jakarta EE from zero to production, the Jakarta Coffee Builder Plugin (an open source Maven-based code generation tool), and using Testcontainers and Flyway for testing Jakarta EE applications.
