Participants can build across three tracks: Developer Identity, Content Intelligence, and Content → Action. All registered developers get full access to the daily.dev Public API (feeds, posts, search, bookmarks, profiles, recommendations) with no Plus subscription required. Any tech stack is allowed, and AI tooling is encouraged. Winners receive 1 year of daily.dev Plus and 3 months of CodeRabbit Pro Plus, plus featured placement on daily.dev. ## Content As you probably already know, [daily.dev](http://daily.dev) is running a Hackathon. We've spent years building tools for developers. Now we want to see what developers build with ours. Hackathon is gonna start this Wednesday (**May 20th at 12:00 UTC**). After some feedback from community we decided it will run for 5 days, so you all get plenty of time to work on your submissions at your own pace and make something great for developers. This puts submissions deadline to May 25th at 12:00 UTC. **All signed up developers will get an email before official start with all the details, how to access APIs and so on. One brief each, very different angles. - **Full **[**Public API**](https://docs.daily.dev/docs/plus/public-api)** access** for every participant. No Plus needed. - **Any stack you want.** Next.js, TanStack Start, Vite, Go, even PHP. AI tooling encouraged. Vibe-code the whole thing if you want. - **Best submissions win 1 year of daily.dev Plus,** [3 months of CodeRabbit Pro Plus](https://www.coderabbit.ai/pricing), and winners get featured on daily.dev. ## What you'll actually build with The daily.dev [Public API](https://docs.daily.dev/docs/plus/public-api) exposes most of what we use to build the product. Feeds, posts, search, bookmarks, profiles, tech stacks, recommendations. If you can think of it, you can probably query it. The only hard rule: a public URL and a shareable output, something a user can post about with a working link, image, or card. Your project is your submission that you will share by tagging us on social media or posting on [daily.dev](http://daily.dev) with keyword #hackathon.
