You Perform Fine All Day, and Then You Get Home

If the system want me to pay my bills, system have to give me an opportunity to earn money to pay that bills. But unfortunately system is broken, so it doesnt get this rule of thumb.

We’ll have to adapt, as we always do. We don’t have any other option.

I grew up in a poor family and even though I live a stable life now, since my first day working in IT I never took anything for granted.
I never took for granted technologies, patterns, my knowledge, my salary, my savings…
And doing so doesn’t mean I live in constant fear and worry, I just try to spend my free time and my money in the best way I can: I never deprive myself of a travel abroad, or of my weekly meal at my favorite restaurant or other things that bring joy to my little life.
In the AI era, deep knowledge and consciousness are powerful in certain contexts, but I always carry with me my plan B career (having a farm, if you wonder) in case things go wrong, and I know it will be fine, because I would hardly go below the life I had to live during my childhood.
I am sharing this to remember you that, unless you come from a powerful family, we live in the eye of the storm

I assume your statement is meant to convey the paradox that as the system eliminates jobs to reduce it’s costs, it also eliminates paying customers/consumers of the products produced by the system.

there are still plenty of jobs though…
