Under the order, Deere must make diagnostic and repair tools available to equipment owners and independent repair shops — not just authorized dealers. Deere is also prohibited from retaliating against owners or shops that choose independent repairs. The company must pay $1 million to the five states for antitrust enforcement costs and will face compliance oversight for 10 years.
