KDE Linux has removed the Arch User Repository (AUR) from its official build pipeline, citing security risks (malware discovered in AUR packages multiple times) and reliability issues (multi-day outages blocking the build process). The decision was also driven by KDE Linux's goal to be platform-agnostic and avoid requiring packaging knowledge for development. End users of KDE Linux are unaffected and can still use AUR to install packages; the change only impacts the OS build process itself.
