The headline features are genuinely interesting, and a few of them have been a long time coming. ### Per-screen virtual desktops (21 years in the making) This one's been requested since 2004. Multi-monitor users can now switch virtual desktops independently on each screen rather than having all monitors flip together. If you've ever wanted to keep a reference window pinned on one monitor while cycling through workspaces on another, this is the feature for you. It's a meaningful productivity improvement, and honestly one of those things that makes you wonder why it took this long. ### Oxygen and Air themes return Two themes from the KDE 4 era are back. Oxygen and Air now ship as full Global Themes with light, dark, and twilight variants. Whether you find this nostalgic or just useful, they're there if you want them. ### Union: a new theming system (tech preview) Plasma 6.7 introduces Union, a CSS-based theming engine that aims to unify styling across Plasma, QtQuick, and QtWidgets. It's disabled by default and explicitly a tech preview, so don't expect it to be stable yet.
