At the same time, however, we have encountered unprecedented compute capacity challenges. Over the past 48 hours, user request volume has increased dramatically, far exceeding our projections and approaching the maximum capacity of our existing infrastructure. To ensure the experience of our current subscribers, we have decided to temporarily suspend new consumer (C-end) subscriptions, effective immediately. All available compute resources will be prioritized for existing subscribers to ensure that their membership benefits remain fully unaffected. Meanwhile, we are rapidly expanding our compute infrastructure. As additional capacity comes online, we will gradually reopen subscription slots until normal subscriptions are fully restored. For future subscribers, we will separate Kimi Core Benefits (including Kimi Web, Kimi App, and Kimi Work) from Kimi Code benefits. This will allow us to allocate compute resources more precisely and deliver a better overall user experience.
