Forward Networks has built a mathematically accurate digital twin platform that models full end-to-end network behavior, enabling engineers to predict the impact of configuration changes before touching production. Their 'Predict' feature integrates with ServiceNow and Ansible/Jenkins pipelines to automatically halt changes that fail validation. The platform also supports an AI networking agent that takes operator intent, maps it to tests in the digital twin, proposes and validates configuration changes autonomously, and only submits changes for human approval after they pass. A live demo showed the agent catching a BGP prefix advertisement error during a data center migration and self-correcting before execution. The key differentiator is a deterministic rather than probabilistic model, which enables reliable autonomous reasoning across multi-vendor environments.
