KPMG is deploying Anthropic's Claude to all 276,000 employees across 138 countries through its Microsoft Azure-based Digital Gateway platform. Rather than a standalone chatbot, Claude is embedded directly into the platform where staff already work, with Anthropic's Claude Cowork and Managed Agents integrated starting with tax and legal tools. The deal also names KPMG as Anthropic's preferred partner for deploying Claude into private equity portfolio companies, including via KPMG Blaze which uses Claude Code to modernize legacy IT systems. Security vulnerability detection is also part of the scope, governed by KPMG's Trusted AI framework. The alliance extends Anthropic's growing enterprise footprint among Big Four professional services firms.
