Poolside has released Laguna M.1, their most capable foundation model to date, featuring 23B active parameters and a 256K context window. The model is designed for agentic coding and long-horizon tasks, and is now available under the Apache 2.0 license on both checkpoints. Developers can run it on their own infrastructure, fine-tune it, evaluate it in custom harnesses, and build on top of it directly.
