Wolfram Language and Mathematica Version 15 has launched, bringing a wide range of new features. A built-in AI Assistant is now available in every notebook via a chatbar, with no configuration required, and integrates with external AI environments like Claude Code and Codex through the new Wolfram Agent Tools framework. Major data handling upgrades include a redesigned TimeSeries framework built on Tabular, a new EventSeries construct, and support for categorical data via Ordinal and Nominal types. The new ModelFit superfunction unifies data fitting across statistical and machine-learning models including neural nets and decision trees. Symbolic music representation is introduced, covering pitches, notes, chords, measures, voices, and full scores with MIDI import. Tabular gains connectivity to Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Files, and Azure Tables, plus column-selective imports and pandas interop. Notebook infrastructure has been rebuilt from the ground up to handle multi-gigabyte notebooks with real-time Find, new sidebars, visual themes (Monokai, Dracula, Solarized, etc.), and a new PlotGrid function for multipanel visualization.
