Android Health offers two primary APIs for developers, Health Connect and Health Services on Wear OS. Updates this year focus on helping developers build a strong foundation of data. Health Connect will soon add support for background reads and history reads. Health Services on Wear OS introduces new data types for running and debounced goals for instantaneous metrics.
