Lightrun has announced the Runtime Aware PR Verifier, a tool that collects live runtime data from production code paths to simulate how a new pull request would behave before it is merged. Unlike static analysis or test environments, it assigns each PR a risk score based on real execution paths, dependency interactions, and live traffic. The tool integrates natively with GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket, and aims to reduce production incidents, lower MTTR, and improve deployment frequency — particularly as AI coding agents like Copilot and Claude Code dramatically increase PR volume.
